Always wear clean, fresh, and comfortable socks or pantyhose each day. Toes can be rubbed or cramped by tight socks or pantyhose. Socks that have holes, are too loose or have seams may cause sore spots. If you notice uneven wear on the soles or tops of your shoes, this could indicate that there is pressure in your feet. In order to properly break in new shoes, you should wear them for no more than two or three hours. Check your feet for soreness and redness before you take them off. Leather shoes are more flexible than other shoes. They mold to your feet better, which means there will be fewer pressure points.
